“AS: … just found some great photogravure postcards c. 1920 of diamond cutting and polishing in Antwerp with caption in French Flemish German and English with the Flemish crossed out! These would be great to show with a descriptive label near the Bureau of Mines Section of the museum (coal into diamonds, of course) but with the added notation that they lack both Yiddish and Ladino…language wars past and present.”
